WDL Policies
Memberships
Women's Daytime League players are required to maintain both a USTA and a FWTEC membership.
Registration:
You can register for Women's Day League in person, over the phone at 612.252.8367 or online via Club Automation. If you are opening a new account, you must purchase a patron membership before you can view and sign up for the league.
Matches & Drills
Each team has pre-paid regular season drills. Singles drills are 1 hour and 30 minutes. Doubles drills are 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is a scheduled break between drills to limit the number of people in the building at the same time and to allow for sanitizing of equipment.
Matches are played every other week; there are in-house and traveling match options. More information on the traveling league match schedule will be shared as it becomes available.
All matches are billed on the day of the match or upon completion of the match. Away matches will be billed to your account and can be paid the next time you are at The Fort.
Subs
We want to maintain a full roster of registered players who attend every drill and play in each match, if possible. Each registered player has the option of finding their own sub if they cannot make the drill.
Subs for drills pay fees directly to the registered player. Non-registered players that sub in MATCHES must be both USTA members and members of The Fort.
Match subs will pay a one-time $5 fee PER TEAM to be registered as a player and play in matches. (So if you sub for multiple teams, you will pay the $5 fee multiple times.)
Registered players will get priority to play in matches.
