Capital Campaign Luncheon
Raises Over $34,000

Thank you to everyone who supported our first-ever Capital Campaign luncheon March 13 at Town & Country Club in St. Paul. We had over 170 attendees and raised over $34,000 for the Capital Campaign. We are so grateful for everyone’s generosity in supporting The Fort!

The event featured keynote speaker Dr. Nicole LaVoi, Executive Director of the Tucker Center for Research on Girls and Women in Sport at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Lavoi talked about what a special place The Fort is and how we need to support organizations like ours who are “doing it right.” The Schneck Family also spoke about having five kids participate in junior programs at The Fort and how much tennis and The Fort have influenced all of their lives. Capital Campaign Manager Lisa Mushett then gave an update on the Capital Campaign, followed by Board President Rick Rinkoff, who thanked everyone for sharing their time, treasure and talents in support of the Capital Campaign before challenging everyone to give “until it feels good.”
